Priscilla Degun Hon is a media and communications professional with experience in television presentation, programme coordination, and development-focused storytelling. She currently serves as Director of Programmes and Administration at the African International Documentary Festival Foundation (AFIDFF), where she supports the design, coordination, and implementation of programmes focused on cultural heritage, youth engagement, and community development.
Her work aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), with a focus on cultural heritage preservation and visibility. Through her involvement in the UNESCO World Heritage Volunteers programme, she has contributed to documenting heritage sites such as Sukur Cultural Landscape and sites within Kano, as well as community-based initiatives in Gashaka Gumti National Park, Taraba State.
Priscilla has experience in media production, field documentation, and stakeholder engagement, and has facilitated volunteer training and coordination activities. Her work integrates storytelling with development communication to amplify underrepresented narratives and promote cultural awareness.
She is committed to strengthening the role of media in advancing sustainable development through impactful and inclusive storytelling.
