Priyambada Saikia

Hey, I’m Priyambada.

I'm doing my masters in communication at Deakin University, Melbourne. It hasn't been long but this is my first time living in new country and my experience has been amazing so far. I love learning about new and different cultures from across the world and living on campus at Deakin has really exposed me to such a diverse cultural community that I cannot be happier.

I often go out a lot, especially to the beach because I love swimming. Before coming to Australia, I was traveling for a year in the Himalayan mountains of India, those were really some of the best days of my life. I love traveling and my main reason to study communication is because of my love for travel. I wish to see as many different places as possible, learn as many languages as possible, and get to know the world we live in a little better.

I've always been complimented for my communication skills and I too am really confident about it, so I have a lot of hopes in what I am studying right now. Hope everything goes well.
