I am a professional French to English and English to French translator and French language trainer based in New Delhi, India. I specialize primarily in Automotive, Information Technology, Construction and Mechanical Engineering translations and Children toy manuals and brochures. My clients include CMM-5 level organizations, language institutes and high-quality translation companies.
A day in the office might find me translating documents explaining the set-up of sub-stations in Western Africa, toy manuals for children aged between 5-8 years or employment contracts for French companies doing business worldwide.
Despite being in this industry for not more than seven years, I have had the privilege of working aside competent and result oriented project managers, directors and business owners, all of them have been recurring in selecting me for their new projects. My educational background includes a BA in Commerce from Delhi University and DELF B2 Certification and a French to English and English to French translation attestation from the Centre Internationale d’études pédagogiques (CIEP) and I am currently pursuing MA in British English Literature from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
When not at the computer, I can often be found reading all kinds of books (preferably related to languages, history and literature), reading magazines and journals, watching documentaries and now, blogging too.
