Priya Pareek

A journalist by day and artist by night, Priya Pareek has intense passion for poetry and art. She is a believer, a dreamer and a doer with poetry running through her veins. Her deepest bond with fireflies, moon, stars and all things poetic make her somewhat magical and mysterious.

Being an introvert, she speaks less and thinks more, always looking at the world from different angles. Forever contemplating about the dynamics of human relations and the power of one's subconscious, Priya strongly believes in the power of dreaming.

"You are capable of becoming everything that you dream of, you have the power to achieve everything that you desire to work hard for and most importantly you are self-sufficient," is what she believes.

Always working on something or the other, Priya encourages everyone to be active. "They say people who think more are often lazy and less active but that's not the case with me; I just can't sit idle as I am a workaholic and trust me if you like to keep yourself busy there is enough for you to do in this world. Write, paint, draw, walk, travel - do anything you wish but never sit idle because that is the worst you can do to yourself!"

Of all her dreams, the biggest is to bring a positive change in as many lives as she can. "Leave a positive message wherever you go, give people a reason to smile, handhold the underprivileged fellows and always have love, compassion and consideration for all lives."

"The biggest sin, in my opinion, is the sin of hurting someone. Just as it is important to be true to your work to be a good professional, it is important to prove harmless to fellow beings to be a good human." Priya suggests that one should always do good, believe in the power of karma and leave the rest to the Universe.
