Kevin McCluskey

Professor Kevin McCluskey has 25 years of direct, post-high school related teaching experience at Berklee College of Music, including 20 years in the Professional Music Department and 10 years in the Harmony Department, one semester’s experience at the Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music, Tisch School, at New York University, plus 28 years experience in Music Business Entrepreneurship, which has been one of his primary responsibilities at the College.

Whether with students in and out of the classroom, with fellow faculty members at college-related workshops, or over coffee, with current and former Jazz Revelation Records staffers and artists, or via his long-term commitment to all alumni (whether he taught them directly or not), Professor McCluskey’s consistent innovation and dedication to his life’s work have made him a leader, and not merely in a titular manner, but in the authentic manner of one who is the author of his own life and experience.
