My Educational Background:
• BA degree in Communications Management and Technology

My Professional Experience:
A graduate of NYU, Donnette Dennis-Austin earned both her B.S. degree in Communications Management and Technology and her M.A. in Speech and Interpersonal Communications from the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Developing. Prior to being thrust into the college arena, Dennis-Austin worked as a community news journalist and corporate news reporter. Today, she enjoys lecturing within the classroom and plans to take it to a broader platform later in her career. As part of the classroom experience, Dennis-Austin's students enjoy discourse on various inter-cultural and cross cultural topics.
Currently, she is in the process of writing her first novel, Sand in my Brief Case! Finally, she is a Ph.D candidate working towards a doctorate degree in Education, specializing in Curricula Development. Her bigger dream is to eventually be a president of a college some place in the US, or perhaps in the Caribbean someplace. Darn it, how about Australia? :) Upon completion of her doctorate degree, she also hopes to become a consultant in her field.
