Professor Harvey Shapiro

Professor Harvey Shapiro finished his master’s in Education at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA. He received his doctorate in Jewish Education from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion.

Harvey Shapiro is Clinical Professor of Education in the Graduate School of Education of the College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University in Boston. His primary areas of scholarship are interpretations of violence in education, ethical leadership, interdisciplinarity, the philosophies of Giorgio Agamben, Jacques Derrida, and John Dewey, and Hebrew literature.
