Profit Ug

Anko Profit alias Profit Ug (real names Profit Sulaiman) also known is a Ugandan event promoter, creative industry expert and music executive born on Friday 26 May 1995. He is the founder and CEO of Profit Events Africa, a local and independent talent management company.

Born in Kyamate, Ntungamo in Uganda to the late Kabaziguruka Jackson and Twikiriize Gorret and raised by his mother in Kyegegwa, Uganda after his father passed on in 2002, he had his primary education at Kyankunyule Primary in 2009 and secondary education at Butunduzi Senior Secondary School in Butunduzi, Kyenjojo district in Uganda class of 2014. He proceeded to acquire a Certificate in Computer Science at New World Computer Center in Kyegegwa, Uganda class of 2015.

In 2017, Profit Ug worked as a radio presenter at 107.9 Kyegegwa Community Radio (formerly Kyegegwa FM) before moving to Mubende to start another career. While working as a radio presenter, he also did various things including events promotion and artist management for both Britop Gardens and New World Club all in Kyegegwa. He also worked as a computer trainer at New World Computer Center.

In November 2017, he moved to Mubende where he started a DJ career in a nightlife club called Wooden Pub and also worked as an Oldies DJ on Saturdays at Club Hope a night club in Mubende.

In 2019, Profit left a DJ career and established a management company and started his works with Main Will.i.am 9 before officially signing Popular Vocals in 2022. Profit Ug has worked with numerous artists including SHAXX MC, Coco Finger, Kim Keiz, Master Parrot, MARVIO Ug, Mary Bata and many others.

Profit Ug is also a member of FS Avenue, a recording studio and label from 𝐌𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞, Uganda. FS Avenue is the official management company for SHAXX MC, Shantal K and Kim Keiz.

He is also a member of the biggest annual event Nva 𝐌𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞 Festival which happens every January.
