Project One Mind

In Project One Mind, a variety of artists are given the opportunity to interpret a single piece of metaphorical writing through their own form of art. The ultimate goal is to make the point that there is no single correct answer, no one path to correctness. That you and I are both reading the exact same words and yet perceiving those words in extremely different ways. We think that’s an awesome truth to life and we have the ability to illustrate it through our art.

To grow and expand not only an appreciation for the power of art, but for the power of mind. To convey the idea that a simple change in perspective, a willingness to live life in a grey zone of uncertainty, the realization that not all that exists requires a title or a reason, and that it is not always necessary to attack or detach from those with an opposing opinion; these mindsets can help a confused and tangled society discover cohesion.

One Mind hopes to be a part of this change and eventually grow to promote our message throughout the world. We would eventually like to create our own “coffee table” book, including not only the pieces of writing and the pieces of art, but non-associated individual interpretations of the writing and tidbits about our artists. We look to expand our online audience through our website and to encourage the involvement of a comprehensive variety of artists and art forms.
