Ankur Gupta

Mumbai

Born in Chakrata with nurturing in Mussoorie in reputed schools like Hampton Court and St. Georges College. A brilliant academic record in B.Pharm. (Hons.) (CGPA 9.39, unmatched since over nearly 6 decades) from BITS, Pilani. An MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad followed. Weaning himself away from corporate life 33 years back, he has since led a Bohemian lifestyle.

His rich professional experience in the health-care industry spans 37 years. He pioneered digital & spiritual art in India and continues to explore newer frontiers, synergizing his scientific temperament with creative skills & digital technology.
Besides art, he has written and produced several books, including two best-sellers on Internet and Chaitanya Jyoti - Experiencing the Divine. He is playing a leadership role in evolving interactive Multi-Touch eBooks. “Seed of Genius” is already available on iTunes for the iPad.

Ankur believes that we can all explore latent facets of ourselves, beyond the self-imposed confines of daily living, sharing them through a popular Sunday column “OPEN MIND” in Hindustan Times. His practical ideas on assimilating the Law of Attraction through myownmindmovie.com had been recently covered on Bloomberg UTV.

His latest book “Seed of Genius” published by Tata Westland has broken fresh ground both in content and presentation and within a month of its publication has received rave reviews and jumped to Top-of-the-Charts in Self-Help. It is the first full-color book of its kind in the world and has introduced a completely new genre, with an educationist enthusiastically defining it as “... a book which is high on aesthetics, is written for the foundation-level reader but which can equally be devoured by those with advanced reading needs...”

Presently, he has been invited by the Maharashtra Government and Accenture to head a team of consultants in implementing a pilot-scale operation of the concepts outlined in “Seed of Genius” for teachers.
