Promita Banik was born on 26 April 1992 in Bardhaman (West Bengal).

She started her carrier at the age of 19 Bengali serial Sonar Harin. She was one of the "Gladrags" Model in 2010.

She has also done many glamour photo shoots, lingerie shoots, print adds and work in a show named hidden cities in "History Channel".

She has also worked in "Sacred Games".
