A childhood obsession with pushing buttons (especially big red ones!), should have alerted my parents early on that I was destined to be a geek. Unfortunately personal computers were in their infancy and weren't available to most people. Plus science and technology were just not things girls studied back then. (Hmph!) Thus began decades of tinkering and dabbling in computers and technology. However, after years of studying different subjects, trying different careers, and being constantly dissatisfied, I returned to college to get a degree in information technology. Best decision I ever made! Now my interests and my career coincide and life couldn’t be better.
