Protocol Afro

The Jakarta based band comprises of Mayo Falmonti (Bass/Manager), Giano Valentino (Guitar), Aryadita Utama (Vocal), Kristian Harahap (Drum), Later they Added Panji Prasetyo (guitar) and Ferdi Salim (Synth). They started playing music together since 2007. Protocol Afro were played at some International music Festival such as Baybeats Festival at Singapore and Hello Asean at Nusa Dua, Bali & On 2014 They were Playing as an opening band for their favourite band Phoenix at Love Garage festival. After release their second album on 20th May 2014, they went to Hanoi to participate in Asian Pride Music Festival. The band got influences from several alternative bands such as Bloc Party, Phoenix, The Killers, The Kooks and MGMT. They call their music as Inconsistent Alternative Pop and try to make music that is anthemic , enjoyable and danceable.
