Psalmist David Rookwood born in the country of Jamaica, started his singing journey at age 7 and has continued to inspire, and lead worship atmospheres over the years. He was inspired to enter music first as a hobby then God birth a greater purpose and gift in his life. He continues to model, through music and a lifestyle which honors God ensure everything in his life glorifies him.

David has already opened on stage for such musical greats as Dunamis Reigns. David has over the years done background and shared stage with Gospel Artistes such as Kevin Downswell, Jermaine Edwards, Rondell Positive, Kimola Brown-Lowe, Jermaine Gordon, Nadine and Perpetual Praise, Dawn Martin, Joseph Emmanuel, Resounding Praise, Sister Michelle and many others.

He has also toured the world with Jamaica's Worship Leader, Jermaine Gordon and as a professional backup singer over 4 years.Psalmist David is a Worship Leader at his local church and find himself often giving vocal lessons, directing Choirs and challenging other into a deeper levels of worship. David devotes his time to hearing from God and writing inspired lyrics to minister to others.Further influenced to pursue music as a career, David attributes moving his music from hobby to true ministry from musical greats such as Kim Burrell, Donnie McClurklin, Le'Andria Johnson, Karen Clarke Sheard and Mali Music.

With his divine anointing, David desires to share his unique gift and style of music as true worship to God and connect with the hearts of people, ultimately giving them a deeper understanding of who they are through Jesus Christ.
