She took majors such as Life Sciences and Physical education to feed her much enthusiasm, curiosity, activeness and a strong belief in knowledge. She believes If the mentioned components could be well passed on and integrated in and outside classrooms, to learners, great innovations could be made both by the innovator and the innovated, more especially if technology is involved. Portia desires to be that teacher who builds trust and confidence and teamwork between her and the learners, and learners among themselves. Through this she has faith that great leaders will emerge and continue to make the difference and create new paths for their societies.
