Pasang Tendi Sherpa

My name is Pasang, and I am the director of Adventure Alternative Nepal. I was born, and grew up in the Himalayan mountain villages in the Lower Khumbu region of Nepal. After leaving school I began working in the trekking industry, firstly as a porter, then trekking guide and sirdar, and at some point as a ‘climbing Sherpa’ and high altitude climbing guide.

I have now trekked and climbed all over the Nepali Himalaya and from Tibet, includingclimbing Mount Everest 11 times, 5 times to the summit. In recent years I have also climbed inthe Andes and in Alaska. As member of the Executive Committee of the Trekking AgenciesAssociation of Nepal (TAAN).

My family and I also runs a guesthouse in Kathmandu that is open to any person interested in staying at my place. Here you will feel like being at home as you will live with our Sherpa family.
