PTRJAY, also known as DJ Pete Wormald, had an infatuation for music long before he fell in love with the art of Djing. As a late starter in the game, PTRJAY began mastering his talents a few years after the turn of the millenium, drawing from the inspirational sounds of universal House and the works of instrumentalists like Artful Dodger, David Guetta, and Deep Dish to name a few. In his early stages Peter-Jay focused on mixing colorful House tunes, but later evolved his ability and incorporated the stylistic effects of dance anthems & electro synths. 2010; Through building connections worldwide, PTRJAY has gained rep for being the guy with the hottest pre-releases in the area, rocking local gigs with his unique fast-paced blend of dance and commerical music while occupying a primetime radio slot on Fridays. Since launching in April 2009, The RND Show has grown exponentially, recieving over a thousand weekly downloads and becoming the Midland's number one dance music show. When asked how he differentiates himself from other DJ's, he insightfully replies, "I have a deep strength in reading my audience's body language. So instead of playing a linear, pre-defined playlist like other DJs, I use this skill to enhance my performance, my sound and really play to the crowd. When in the club I have one challenge, one goal. The passion I feel, I want to share with my audience, the beats I play, I want to pound in people’s memory, and I want my music to speak for itself.”
