I like traveling but I'm still only 17 and don't really have a say in where I want to plan my next excursion, so now I just go on school sanctioned trips to places like Haiti to build schools. No big deal.

I like dogs (specifically Australian Shepherds and Alaskan Malamutes) but I got chased around my neighborhood by one when I was in my backyard watering plants, so now I stray away from all gardening activities.

I like exploring but I found a deer leg behind my house, so now I prefer to play video games in my basement.

I like programming games but high school computer science classes catered more towards beginners, so now I go to programming camps and make games to unleash my full potential.

I like watching movies with friends but I spend most of my money on gas, so now I just resort to Netflix. #notsponsored

I like camping but I heard an eldritch noise in the woods once, so now I just camp in my backyard.

I like listening to my parents talk about their lives before they emigrated from India and how they were dirt poor, so now I spend hundreds of hours volunteering and leading clubs to help those less fortunate.
