Pulofesa Martin Namutso (Snr.)

Kampala - Uganda

I have a broad experience in designing, implementing and supporting computerized information systems at organizational, district, national and continental levels and a passion for sharing and mentoring young professionals.

I’m an Insightful, results-driven Management Information System (MIS) professional with notable success directing a broad range of information systems while participating in planning, analysis, and implementation of solutions in support of business objectives.

I've worked with IntraHealth International Inc – a USAID funded project in Uganda to customize, design, implement and train Human Resource staff at the Ministry of Health and District health staff & Biostatisticians in managing and using a Human Resources for Health Information System. I later supported both in-country or remotely; other African countries that IntraHealth International was expanding to like Botswana, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Lesotho and Namibia to customize and/or setup + train human resources staff in the respective Ministries of Health on the Human Resources for Health Information System.

Currently I work for Social & Scientific Systems – MEEPP; a USAID funded Monitoring & Evaluation project of the Presidential Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR Uganda) funded agencies in Uganda as the IT Specialist overseeing all the ICT system administration roles. I also support both the Uganda Ministry of Health with ICT Technical Assistance on the District Health Information System2 (DHIS2) and the Uganda AIDS Commission with Technical Assistance on the HIV/AIDS Stakeholder E-Mapping project.
