Julianne Hesketh
First and foremost I'm a creative. Creativity flows through my veins. Without it I wouldn't be me! I studied embroidered textiles, fashion design and worked as a graphic designer after graduation. I don't work now as I suffer from chronic illness (and pain), Me. I dm unable to live a normal life and can only do a little at a time. I get frustrated with how my body lets me down. I do, however, try to have a positive outlook despite all that I've been through and suffer daily. I adore crafts and I knit, Crochet, sew, embroider, draw, paint and design and make jewellery. I have a website with a small selection of my jewellery. My other interests include a deep love of vintage which was sparked as s child seeing photographs of my mum as a young woman in the 1940s and seeing my much older sister as a teenager in the 1970s. I wore vintage in the mid 80s wen everyone else was wearing 'Chelsea Girl' and market clothes. My favourite era is the 1940s, which has led me to adore Pin-up imagery and styling.
