Solar Pump Inverters For Homes
What exactly is a pump inverter? A pump inverter maintains an even and consistent pressure in a hot water system by automatically changing the speed of your pump motor to provide the same pre-sets pressure at the discharge port, no matter how many appliances or outlets are in operation. The amount of pressure variation can be adjusted by a simple twist on the control handle. That is, if the control handle is twisted to the left, the pump will operate at a higher rate than it would normally do. If the handle is twisted to the right, the pump will operate at a lower rate.
How do you convert a fixed-speed electric motor into an inverter? Basically, it's the same as converting a variable-speed motor except that the input is now a permanent voltage signal instead of a DC signal. To do this, you need to have a device called an oscillator. You don't need anything fancy like a Vibrating Loom but just a simple plain old rubber ducky (not an electrical loo, silly) is good enough. Since we're talking about an inverter, all that's needed is a source of permanent voltage and the ability to send that through the inverter to the control circuit for the pump inverter.
There are two primary benefits of having a solar pump inverter system on your home. First, it allows you to reduce your energy usage or make it more efficient, depending on what you're using your solar energy for. Second, it's a totally green solution to your energy bill and environmental protection. As mentioned earlier, the inverters take DC energy from your solar panels and change it to your residential AC power supply. This reduces the amount of electricity you need to power your household, or it could even mean you'll never be billed for energy again.
What does this have to do with your environment? Well, the way that the pump inverter converts AC power to DC energy means less pollution. This is because you won't be burning as many fossil fuels to create the AC power you use. This means cleaner air, more oxygen in the air, and less mercury, carbon dioxide, and other harmful gases in your home. It also means less acid rain and less damage to the earth's natural resources.
Another benefit of having your own solar pump inverter system is your environmental protection. You'll use less power from the utilities, which means there will be less power cuts and less carbon emissions into the atmosphere.
