Punsara Amarasinghe
Graduate Student in New Delhi, India
I am a graduate student at South Asian University, New Delhi and where I read LL.M in Jurisprudence and Comparative Constitutional Law. In Sri Lanka I had my secondary education from Royal College, Colombo and then went on to study at Faculty of Law, University of Colombo. Having worked for more than five NGO's and respective institutes like Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission, Royal Asiatic Society, my research interests include transitional justice, LGBT rights, legal anthropology and post-colonialism in South Asia. When my mind flys away from legal studies, I get busy with my thoughts to write poetry and western classical music. I am a chorister, debater and oarsman. But after all, a man who is trying to live by a simple rule..." All mundane things are subject to decay".
