I am a teacher, student, and mother currently living in North Vancouver. I am an experienced canoe tripper, amateur climber, surfer, kayaker, yogi and mountain biker, one with the mud trail-runner and queen of the pow on magical days.

Why do I teach? Because each day is filled with nuggets of discovery, a-ha moments and unexpected adventures. For me, life is a balance between planning and letting go, doing and being, accepting that processes are sometimes required and results are not always what they seem.

In my collective experiences—personal and professional—I have discovered that there are three kinds of people in this world: those who can count, and those who can’t.
