A while back and without much experience, and too much time to kill, following a little work I reached top position for six of my websites for their primary keyword phrases. And guess what happens? In those days it was easy, the key issues were your meta tags and benefiting from links, it really was that easy. Generally mutual links and all I had to do to obtain in the top three of my group was put my key keyword in the hyperlink text. That is all it took, it was so simple!
