On Saturday July 14, Park Slope resident Mark Crowther will be at Noella Brew Bar on Park Slope's 7th Avenue, selling purple (blueberry) ice cream to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Mark's on a mission to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers, by participating in the 2012 Ironman US Championship in New York City and New Jersey as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training (TNT). Like the other members of TNT, he is raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma.
The purple blueberry ice cream, contains no eggs, no wheat and no corn syrup, and uses no artificial colors or flavors. Noella is donating 100% of the proceeds to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
