Purple Kiss Company was founded on June 1st, 2012. My name is Shawna & I am 25 years old. I live near Cleveland, OH & am a stay at home mother and full-time college student. I'm majoring in Small Business Management, so I can grow PKC to it's full potential!

I started crocheting when I was 8 years old, taught by my (step)Grandmother, who used to watch me everyday of my childhood summer vacations from school. After my Grandmother passed when I was 13, I masted the skill. I am unsure if it was my way to remember her, carry on her memory, looked up to her so much that I had to crochet all the time too, or if I just truly loved crocheting. No matter the reason, I have taken on projects of all kinds. Blankets, scarves, baby afghans, hats, and jewelry.

Owning my own business from my skill was a dream of mine for a long time before Purple Kiss Company was born. It has taken me years of planning to have a successful system developed. To run a great company, it must have perfect organization. During the summer break of 2012 from college, I planned to devote my extra time to starting PKC. At the time of writing this, school starts back up in 2 more weeks, and I am quite pleased with Purple Kiss Company's opening.
