Pushpender Kaushik

Pushpender Kaushik is an Indian poet, short story writer, literary critic, and educator known for blending literature with values-based education. Hailing from Himachal Pradesh, he holds an M.A. in English from Himachal Pradesh University and an M.Phil. from Chaudhary Devi Lal University. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in English Literature. As a Lecturer in English, he is celebrated for his creative and ethical teaching approach, mentoring students who’ve received national honors like the INSPIRE Award and Kalpana Chawla Scholarship.
Kaushik has worked with institutions like SCERT, CIET, and HPBOSE on curriculum development and e-learning. He has authored and edited several academic and literary works, including Beyond Borders, Infinite Horizons, and Mastering Idioms. His writings often explore themes of human emotion, social justice, and cultural identity. His chapter “Literary Criticism and Theory: Nature and Obligation” was published in a national seminar.
Among his recognitions are the Himachal Pradesh State Teacher Award (2024), Education Excellence Award (2020), and National Award for Innovation in Online Education (2023).
