I, DebbieAnn Pustam was born on the beautiful island of Trinidad and Tobago and have lived in New York for the past 24 years. Currently I am in my final semester at New York University (NYU) studying Public Relations and Corporate Communications (PRCC).

Prior to NYU, I was a pre-med student and worked as a nuclear medicine technologist for a private radiology facility on the Upper East Side. After realizing that medicine was more of my parents’ dream and not mine, I decided on a career change.

My love for PR and communications came about in 2001 when I co-founded a small theater production company in Richmond Hill, Queens called Flat Tire Productions. Within Flat Tire I wore many hats. I was involved in PR, marketing, production management and acting. Since 2001 Flat Tire has made a large impact on the Richmond Hill community in Queens, NY and will continue to do so with the knowledge I hope to achieve as a NYU PRCC graduate student.
