I am thoroughly enjoying being part of the decade of digital renaissance in India in various capacities over the first decade of the 21st century. Personally I want to lift the online industry in India to global standards so that our indigenous products and services can compete in efficiency, aesthetics and innovation with the best in the world.

I evaded the ITES/GRE bandwagon after my comp science degree from IITK in 2000 but couldn't be unconventional for long; I started a conventional career as a banking software professional in 2003. Since then I have donned the hats of a programmer, software project manager, analytics head, online marketing head and finally a product-technology head in the ecommerce space.

I have reasons to believe strongly in my functional acumen and constantly challenge my human failings by submitting myself to fate and putting myself in challenging, sometimes even disturbing situations. The outcome, fortunately, has always been positive for me as well as the organizations I have worked for!
