Paul Austin-Menear
Paul graduated from Trent University with an honours’ degree in history back in 2007, and from Fleming College’s Business Administration program in 2010 (while also enduring a two-year stint in the recruiting pool for CSIS). He has spent the last five years being involved heavily in entrepreneurial pursuits- both in an outside consulting role for some of the area’s largest employers, and in management and development roles (most recently as the business development manager for real-estate marketing brand NewNeighbours, and as Managing Director for market research firm KleverAnalytics).
As a manager, Paul’s professional focus is on relationships. Without the creation and maintenance of strong relational bonds in the workplace (as well as with vendors and clients), even the most prolific of business ventures is destined to fail. As a marketer, his focus is on brand development and management. Brands are the embodiment of language- they communicate visually and verbally across a diverse range of mediums. Without a powerful brand, consumers have little reason to engage with an organization and build mutually beneficial relationships. After all, business isn’t about selling things.
