Patrick Wilkerson

Baton Rouge, LA

Thanks for stumbling on my bio. A little of who I am. As you see above, my name is Patrick Wilkerson. I grew up on a back country (dirt) road in Natchitoches, LA before moving to Baton Rouge in 2003 to attend LSU. After completing my undergrad in marketing and receiving a bachelor’s degree from the E. J. Ourso College of Business, I began working for an e-commerce website specializing in collegiate fan gear as well as an apparel company which manufacturers and sells collegiate licensed formal wear and accessories. A few years later, I was promoted to director of both companies, managing the sales and operations. During my time with these companies, I was able to learn the ins and outs of running a small business. I also took with me a detailed understanding of e-commerce development, graphic design and product sourcing.

I was then asked to by my current business partner to assist in opening up Bengals & Bandits (a retail concept store) outside the gates of LSU. We found a niche in the collegiate apparel market by focusing on retro and vintage inspired LSU designs. We are very garment driven and strive to offer the best in boutique style LSU apparel. We self branded Bengals & Bandits with our now iconic logo which lead to the creation of B&B Dry Goods Co. our in house product line that holds a wide array of products featuring this logo.

I've recently joined AOOT (a Strategic Creative Agency) as a project manager specializing in web development, design and online marketing. AOOT, short for Ahead of Our Time, is more than just the name of our firm. It also signifies a management philosophy based on progressive ideas and industry leading partnerships to achieve your goals.

In addition to my role at B&B and AOOT, I'm an outside sales rep for various collegiate product lines, I consult for outside e-commerce projects, I assist new business start ups and work with companies to source and manufacture products both domestically and abroad.

Outside my professional life, I love vintage motorcycles, I'm driven by aesthetics and am always looking for a new passion to follow. It's my belief that whatever I spend time working on today, I should love doing tomorrow.
