Q&A Productions

We are a duet-dancing duo, creating and performing together throughout NYC and its surrounding boroughs. If you HAD to label us (gasp!) then we'd be happy to be categorized as "dance". However, the concepts in which we make work about would fall short when in transmission from performers to audience if we did not perform with more than our moving bodies. In addition to dancing we have improvised conversations on stage, play musical instruments like the mandolele, use a loop pedal to create soundscapes for ourselves, launch therabands at each other, and sing Smokey Robinson songs dressed in bacon and egg costumes. We are interested in performing work that our audience can see themselves being a part of. Performance is a form of entertainment and we don't believe in presenting work that alienates those who are not in our field. Our ideas involve everyone, including you!
