I recognize the need to make a positive impact in the world and I am driven to utilize research, person-to-person interaction, contemporary technologies, and my natural enthusiasm, sensitivity, and resourcefulness to manifest such an impact. I make my impact in the social and creative domains via team challenges, collaboration practice, music and art.
My experience includes: self-directed elementary education; community college engagement at 14; clown school and physical theater school; program directing at Circus Smirkus camp in VT; afterschool circus programming for at-risk youth with Circ-Esteem in uptown Chicago; high ropes course and teambuilding faciliation with the Girl Scouts of Northern California and APEX Adventures; ukulele, performance, and tuned wine-glasses with the 7 piece music and performance ensemble, Corpus Callosum; project coordination and collaboration with the Global Entrepreurship and Maker Space Initiative (GEMSI) fostering the global hacker/makerspace movement in the MENA regions; I was a 2012 Summer education intern at the Children's Creativity Musuem in SF; I am the outreach coordinator and a therapeutic clown with ClownZero. I graduated with high distinction (3.8 GPA) from UC Berkeley in psychology. I study play, group challenge dynamics, engagement, and collaboration.
