Hey! I’m Qing Zheng. I’m a Computer Scientist at Los Alamos National Lab, where I build storage systems for next-generation supercomputers. I design, shape, and put new technologies to work—whether that means solving storage challenges at the lab or developing tools that support scientific research more broadly. I collaborate extensively with folks from universities and industry, working on everything from low-level file systems to the platforms scientists use to turn data into insight. I got my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and have been deep in the HPC storage world since 2021.
