Quadrum Global is a global real estate development and investment firm focused on value-add opportunities. The firm is managing c.$1.3bn in investor capital spread across the US, UK and select emerging markets. Gross value of the firm’s portfolio stands at c. $2bn with the majority of assets in the US.
Established in 2004 as part of the Cube Capital Group, Quadrum Global became independent in 2013. It is headed by its founder and CEO Oleg Pavlov and now comprises 6 major offices and affiliates worldwide.
The company’s focuses on distressed, value-add, repositioning and development opportunities for assets across a variety of sectors in order to create long term value. Since 2009 Quadrum Global has focussed heavily on distressed and development opportunities in the US. The company has committed in excess of $1bn of equity capital to the US market, predominantly in hospitality and residential sectors. Quadrum’s US hotel portfolio comprises 8 major properties in New York, Chicago, Miami and Orlando. Its residential portfolio includes multifamily developments in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and Jersey City. Looking to capitalize on its experience in residential and hospitality sectors, Quadrum has recently moved into senior living space with its first development of a highly amenitised retirement community in Florida.
Drawing on its legacy as a multinational investment manager with track record of investing in various publicly traded and private equity asset classes across different markets Quadrum Global assesses individual acquisitions within the wider global context and macro-economic and geopolitical factors, capital markets and industry cycles.
The company avoids excessive reliance on debt finance during acquisition and development stages and believes that such strategy helps prevent unnecessary volatility of returns and potential poor decision-making during difficult times.
