Maggie Quale

Born and raised in Silicon Valley, Maggie learned to code on an Amiga 1000 while most kids were outside playing soccer. Her affection for all things nerd is second only to her passion for communication, which spawned a nearly two-decade love affair helping the tech industry tell its stories to the world. Maggie is AltSchool's director of communications. As a freelance writer Maggie occasionally contributes to the Huffington Post. Her articles have appeared in the SF Chronicle, LA Times, SJ Mercury News, The Advocate and Santa Cruz Sentinel. Maggie earned a bachelor's degree from University of California, Santa Cruz. She is a mommy to three beautiful boys and an unapologetic Trekker. Specialties: Writing, Media Relations
