Who Am I

As a young man growing up in Prince Edward Island in the late 1900’s, my dream was to read emails while having my focus routinely disrupted by mandatory participation in no fewer than 3 notification generators collaborative tools. My goals were to be regularly woken at 3am, made to take my work phone and laptop on vacations, and to be compensated for only 37.5 of the 60-80 hours worked in a week.

With age brought wisdom, however, and after 22 years of this, I abandoned the dream in search of a profession unburdened by so much stress and responsibility. Naturally, I chose nursing.
