Current position
Since 2016, I have been serving as Principal Research Officer and lab in-charge in the Department of Clinical Pharmacology. In addition, I also serve as the coordinator of the Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics training program.
Working Experience
Serves as lab In-charge
Since 2017, I have served as the Lab In-charge for Quality, overseeing critical lab operations and managing an annual testing volume of 8,000-9,000 tests. My responsibilities include ensuring accurate testing for vitamin D, folic acid, and vitamin B12, supported by rigorous quality control protocols and regular calibration of lab equipment to maintain high analytical standards. I handle the collection, labeling, storage, and disposal of biological samples, ensuring traceability and preventing contamination.
Serve as Principal Research Officer
I served as the Principal Investigator, collaborating extensively with renowned organizations including the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), World Health Organization (WHO), Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC), Bangladesh Institute of Research and Training on Applied Nutrition (BIRTAN), Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), and the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission.
Serve as Coordinator, Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics Training Program
I coordinate an internship training program involving approximately 3,000 students from various universities and colleges. As part of this program, students are guided in developing a comprehensive practical report on menu planning based on patients' biochemical and clinical parameters, specific disease conditions, and established dietary guidelines.
