Qudoos Chaudhry

I have been developing software professionally since early 2000 sometimes as the sole resource on some projects taking care of all aspects from analysis to deployment and on other ocassions worked on larger teams where my responsibility was to mainly design and implement. I have gone through the junior, intermediate and senior developer and also come to realize how little these titles mean. I spend a lot of my time learning new technologies, languages and tools which makes me a junior at quite a few things. I don't always get to use these in my day to day but they help me broaden my knowledge and improve upon my skills by learning better way of writing software.

At a high level my main expertise lie in:

- Software design and implementation at application and database levels.
- Writing web based applications using Microsoft's latest .net technology stack standard web UI technologies.
- Modelling and implementing relational databases.

Every little time I find, I educate myself. Here are a few things that I learned just in the last year or so

- CQRS
- NoSql (RavenDB, Redis)
- AngularJS
- F#
- Android Development
- Xamarin development for Android and iOS (attended evolve conference)

When I am not writing applications, I spend time playing and doing activities with my kids. I am quite passionate about trekking/hiking and am always planning to get out.
