Quittman Farmer

Quittman is a multifaceted professional, encompassing roles as an Artist, Designer, and Entrepreneur. His diverse interests include technology, art, artificial intelligence, and education. He has made significant contributions in the fields of Animation, Video Gaming, and App Development, with a particular focus on Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technologies.

Since the young age of 15, Quittman has been immersed in the world of design, starting with Graphic Design where he honed his skills in painting gym shoes and creating murals. This early passion evolved into a pursuit of developing video games and cartoons.

After completing high school in 2005, Quittman embarked on a year of travel before settling back in Chicago to start a career in construction. During his tenure in construction, Quittman was involved in various projects, demolishing and rebuilding houses across Chicago. Even in this phase, his artistic drive remained strong, often transforming plywood into stunning artworks during his breaks.

In 2009, four years post-high school, Quittman decided to further his education in Animation, a field he had been introduced to during his high school years. His prior exposure to the medium allowed him to excel rapidly, leading him to tutor fellow students in Multimedia Design and Animation.

Quittman's graduation in 2012 marked the beginning of his freelance career, taking on short-term projects and gaining recognition for his innovative and creative solutions. His growing reputation led him to establish QUED Animations, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, creativity, and an engaging work environment.

By 2021, Quittman expanded his impact by partnering with school district 214, focusing on educating interns in animation. This collaboration led to the founding of QUED-UP, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering the next generation of artists and creative minds. QUED-UP provides education and resources to prepare students for careers in technology and design industries. Under Quittman's leadership, QUED-UP, since its inception in 2023, has positively influenced over 300 students by providing them with training, software, and hardware to support their future endeavors.
