Adut, Besi(born 1982) in Istanbul, Turkey. She is a professional filmmaker. Currentlylives in the United States and travels wherever projects take her. Bessystarted her film education in 2001 in Istanbul Bilgi University and continuedher studies with a Fulbright Scholarship she was rewarded, she moved to LosAngeles and graduated from CalArts with an MFA degree on Film Directing. Whichfirst started as a hobby playing with cameras and writing stories since she wasyounger turned into a professional career. She won many awards and her shortfilms screened at several international film and art festivals. Her otherinterests include movies, literature. She leads a healthy lifestyle, as healthymind is in a healthy body she goes for a walk in nature everyday and she isalso an animal lover and adopted many cats and dogs. She continues writingscreenplays, making films and collaborates with other filmmakers.
