Queensley has over five years experience working in the development sector with specific interest on gender, environment, urban settlement, peace and conflict resolution. Queensley is passionate about development work due to some traumatic expereince resulting from ethno-religion conflicts in northern Nigeria which she suffered as a victim.
Trained as a Manager with Post Graduate Degree in Management from Nassarawa State Univeristy, Nigeria, she also holds a Certificate in Mainstreaming Poverty-Environmental Linkages in Planning and Development from Weitz Centre for Development, Rohovot, Israel.
Queensley interest in peace building, made her a Research Assistant to Alexandra Scacco a Ph.D. student who visited Nigeria in 2006, 2007 and 2008 from Columbia University, New York, United States of America (USA) to conduct a research into the root causes of violent conflicts in Kaduna and Jos,
As an active volunteer, she formed a Peace Club in Fagge Government Secondary School, Fagge, Kano State to promote peace building amongst youths during her youth service corp year.
Currently an active members of various networks that promote evironmental sustinability, climate change, gender, urban settlement, peace and conflict resolution, women land rights nationally and internationally.
She looks forward to any challenging experince that will help make change in the society especially vulnerable groups.
