At 20 years old, Quentin Montrell Perkins has accomplished a lot so far. He comes from a very small town of Plymouth, NC. In 2011, Quentin graduated from Plymouth High School. While in high school, Quentin was in a few clubs such the National Junior Honor Society, the math club, JROTC, and the Future Farmers of America club. He graduated from Plymouth High School with honors with a 3.6 GPA. Quentin also graduated number four of his class.
In August 2011, Quentin began his first year of college. He was the first person in his household family to go to a four year college. Quentin attends North Carolina Central University. He chose North Carolina Central University because of the good school of business program they have there. Upon beginning college, Quentin has chosen his major to be business management.
After graduating from North Carolina Central University, Quentin plans to obtain his Master’s degree in business management at Winston-Salem State University. With a Master’s degree in business management, Quentin dreams to become a senior level manager at a high paying bank. Coming from a small town, Quentin feels a need to be successful to make his family. Throughout his life so far, Quentin has a motto that has kept him going, “ the only person that can stop you from being successful is you.”
