The owner of an insurance services firm in Norfolk, Virginia, Quincy Deland Magby laid the foundation for his career by earning a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Fayetteville State University. Quincy Magby then enrolled in graduate courses at Fayetteville State University, where he graduated with a master’s degree in mathematics in 1998.
For more than a decade, Quincy Deland Magby taught mathematics at various educational institutions. For his work in the field, he earned an educational grant to journey to Denmark to attend a mathematics conference in 2004.
Mr. Magby went on to serve as an agent furnishing insurance solutions in 2012, and has owned Eagle Pathways Financial LLC in Virginia since 2015. As a business owner, he oversees a full brokerage and provides service offerings for clients in Virginia and North Carolina. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he maintain an appreciation for mathematics and donates to such organizations as the American Mathematics Association of Two Year Colleges.
