Quincy Richard Battista
Chicago, Illinois, United States
Quincy Richard Battista is in the business of opening doors of endless possibilities for kids. He is currently a music teacher at the Chicago High School for the Arts, “Chiarts.” He teaches intro to music, music history and teaches students to play a variety of intruments such as the saxophone, the trumpet, the piano and the bass guitar.
In his free time, Quincy Richard Battista plays in a jazz band and records in his very own recording studio. In addition, he gives music lessons (mostly jazz based) to musicians of all levels, starting from beginners - all the way to experts. Quincy is an expert himself and is an inspiration for this generation as he is keeping the traditionally smooth sound of jazz alive.
Quincy Richard Battista plans to execute a travel music program this year. This program is for students in high school and college. They will travel across the world, providing individuals with music therapy through the charming roots of jazz. They will sing and play instruments, performing personal concerts as well as large concerts in public arenas, hospitals, and outdoor venues in several countries.
