Biology student focusing on genetics and grad school prep in East Tennessee. Mostly all about every kind of genetics I can get my hands on, but broad areas of interest include: biochemistry, DNA replication, cell biology, and biomedical sciences with a smidge of vocal performance and general music on the side. Nontraditional student in more ways than one. Planning on applying to PhD programs in genetics and genomics as well as in molecular biology.

A little bit organization obsessed and can't turn down a good planner. Genetically predisposed to not having an indoor voice.Openly gay, married, and passionate about LGBTQ+ activism in the deep south and in academia. Might be a little bit of a gay stereotype and doesn't care.
