I am Quintan Johnson, wife and mother of four and founder of "Out of the Box Fashion." I started "Out of the Box Fashion" in 2012, as a way of highlighting the latest fashions and trends. I am very passionate about fashion and my desire is to help women create their styles. To achieve this, I decided to start a Fashion Blog. "Out of the Box Fashion" also provides styling tips and inspires women to step outside of the box and feel confident while creating a stylish look. I started the fashion blog not knowing where it would lead.

My journey has been wonderful! I was a young mother and wife who has always had a passion for fashion. Like most women with a young family, I cast my dreams aside and immersed myself in raising my family and encouraging their dreams. I never completely gave up on my dream I had, but always yearned and imagined that one day it would unfold

As my kids grew older and became independent, the idea of this dream was weighing heavily on my heart. I had more time to concentrate and put into action the things I wanted to do. I knew it was time for me to get busy with pursuing my dream! With that said, I took a risk and started styling people that I knew. Loving what I do and with suggestions from clients and friends, I decided to start my own fashion blog. I stepped out of my comfort zone (outside of the box) and began doing what I love and feel comfortable with doing.

Being inspired by the fashion world, I have always researched the latest in trends. I took a risk and added new ideas to my own styling techniques. I am a firm believer that “it is very important to invest in you” and for most women, we tend to get lost into our families and others and somehow lose ourselves. This is where I step in! I encourage women to look beyond their normal way of expression and try something new. Buy that SEXY DRESS you have always wanted or that RED CLUTCH that you stare at when out shopping. Fashion is all about expression, so be creative and have fun!

Since starting my blog, I have styled for many people. I have also worked on a short- film set, styling the actors along with styling clients for photo shoots. My sense of style is unique because I show you how to create styles with closet staples. I also help with transitioning your wardrobe for the different seasons.
