Hi, I'm Royal!

(Not by any regal status per say.)

I'm an Illustration major as well as a cultural lover. From the arts, music, language, and especially the cuisines, I often find my free time filled to the brim with new ideas for obscure stories to tell, each housed with a vast array of diverse characters and cultural influences that dwell in them.

Growing up and moving from one small portion of Michigan to the next, my view of the world enlarged itself after experiencing some time in Japan, as well as Spain. Two cultures I grew especially fond of learning about as a child, I was able to bring home a bigger understanding and appreciation of and have both influenced my style when it comes to storytelling, world-building and character design.
