I am a woman over 40 and determined to keep my weight under control. Fortunately, I have always been able to wear a size small and still do. However, sometimes things feel a little snug and I then know I have to step things up a bit.

People often always ask me how I keep my weight under control. Now I must admit, I live on a diet and I always have. In a nutshell, I really watch what I eat. I rarely drink soda. I rarely drink alcohol. I drink water instead.

I eat healthy food and I keep my portions small. When I do eat sweets which is rare, I make certain to keep those portions too. I don’t have a slice of cake or a slice of pie. I have what I call a sliver of cake or a sliver of pie.

I start every morning with a huge glass of water with lemon or apple cider vinegar. Often I’ll add green tea.

I walk about 5 times a week. During the week, my goal is 3,000 to 5000 steps per day. On the weekends, my goal is to have 10k+ steps per day.

I make walking fun. I go to shopping malls. Be careful! The urge to shop can be very tempting. :) I go to shopping malls because that is fun to me and does not feel like exercise.

I wear a watch that keeps track of my steps. This forces me to keep track on my goal.

This blog will show my daily meals and activities. If you have any questions, please let me know.

I hope this helps you to reach your goals.
