Rob Ingram

I am the Director of the Office of Youth Violence Prevention, originally working for Mayor Tom Potter, then Commissioner Dan Saltzman, and now Mayor Sam Adams. With that role, I am the chair of the Gang Violence Task Force, the longest standing body in the area working to prevent gang violence. A graduate of (and advocate for) Warner Pacific College (Cum Laude) majoring in Business Adminstration, I also write a monthly article in Portland Family magazine entitled For Goodness Sake, and a regular contribution in The Skanner Newspaper. Professionally, I am the current president of the Urban League of Portland Young Professionals, the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Columbia NW African American Advisory Board, chair of the Board of Directors for The Safe Place, a faith-based non-profit, and am on the Site Council for Woodlawn Elementary school. Most importantly, I am a proud husband of 11 years and father to five beautiful (albeit complex) children.
